Role Description
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and backend services, contributing to architecture decisions with senior engineers. This is a hands-on cloud/backend role supporting our telematics data platform — you’ll work across infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration APIs.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and collaborative, with strong ownership and a practical approach to solving production problems.
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for our telematics analytics platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows
- Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls following team standards
- Build & maintain APIs/SDKs that enable secure client integration with our platform
- Collaborate with data, product and business teams to develop innovative cloud solutions.
Requirement
- At least 2–3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, backend development, or data/platform engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Minimally 2 years of experience in Python
- Minimally 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS services in production
- Strong understanding of database schema design and SQL querying
- Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud principles and the well-architected framework.

- AWS certifications is a plus
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications is a plus
- Experience building dashboards, internal tools, or web-based data visualization interfaces is a plus
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Analytics concepts is a plus
