Manage and coordinate all engineering design activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Review design drawings, technical submissions, shop drawings, and engineering documents prior to implementation.
Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and internal project teams to obtain design approvals and resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and BIM teams to ensure design integration, constructability, and timely project delivery.
Oversee submission and approval processes with relevant authorities, including regulatory clearances and statutory requirements.
Prepare, review, and monitor technical documentation, design progress reports, and presentation materials for project stakeholders.
Identify design risks, technical discrepancies, and potential project impacts, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure the latest approved drawings and engineering documents are distributed and implemented on-site.
Support tender activities by preparing technical proposals, engineering documentation, and design-related submissions for bidding.
Attend design reviews, technical coordination meetings, project meetings, and site meetings as required.
Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
Minimum 5 years of experience in design management, including at least 3 years in Design & Build (D&B) projects with a main contractor or engineering consultancy.
Experience in civil and structural engineering design coordination for construction projects.
Familiar with statutory submission and approval procedures involving authorities such as URA, BCA, LTA, and PUB.
Knowledge of BIM coordination, engineering documentation, and technical design management.
